Music auditions at A-State are set up on an individual basis between Dr. Faske and each prospective student. A private lesson prior to the audition is highly encouraged, but not required. If you would like to schedule a scholarship audition, please email Dr. Faske at [email protected].

Trombonists interested in pursuing a career in music should strongly consider several things when choosing a university. While reputation of the institution is certainly important, students should also take into account the professor they will have more than 100 hours of contact time with over the course of their degree study. While no program is a perfect fit for everyone, the only way to determine if a good fit exists is to spend time together and trust your experience!
